HYBE CASTING BTS IN GAY FAN-FICTION For His SALES!!!

HYBE WAS GOING TO CAST BTS IN GAY FAN-FICTION AND PUSH TO GET MORE SALES...

HYBE was going to make a gay story casting BTS and HYBE would push a gay story to get more sales...

What happened with HYBE so recapping just a little bit more. Apparently during the HYBE conference that recently happened. It was announced that HYBE will be collaborating with Wattpad and Webtoons again to recontinue their stories.

BTS is known for its stories and this is likely going to be a continuation of what is highly requested, to continue the Most Beautiful Moment in Life series. It’s not 100% confirmed, I don’t think, but it’s just assumed.

Now they used a photoshopped photo of BTS and this poster called 7 Fates, which is a story that already exists. I didn’t know this. As I said I am not on Wattpad and it didn’t occur to me that they would use a real story from Wattpad like a real title.

So apparently this story has a lot of gay innuendos and just gay in there.
That had shipped the members quite a bit and people felt like BTS was uncomfortable with this.

Thinking maybe HYBE was going to make a gay story of them. But HYBE then came out and said this was just an example that was used to demonstrate. And it wasn’t going to be a gay story. But it is interesting that they picked that story to use as an example.

People were angry because ships are something people see as something that makes the boys uncomfortable and the only reason labels don’t stop these ships' stories or step in is because it’s a huge part of any fan base.

By stepping in, ruins the fun of being in the fandom and labels are then scared, it’s going to reduce their sales. And so labels usually encourage this as it does help their sales.

So there was this uproar online that HYBE was going to make a gay story because 7 Fates was a gay story and that HYBE would be like the other labels and push a gay story to get more sales.

I hope that’s clear. That was difficult for me to understand. So then it became a thing where the internet and Netizens were extremely upset at HYBE for apparently doing this and using BTS.

Even after the HYBE statement where they said the story was just an example they were using, there was this trend online that asked BTS to leave HYBE and for HYBE to stop using BTS for money.

HYBE STATEMENT

This got even bigger because during this time the announcement that HE was doing NFTs and apparently HYBE, was selling digital photo cards. But these photocards were tied to the NFTs. So these photos represent the tokens they were selling.

So instead of buying bitcoin, you buy a Jungkook photocard, and eventually, when the value of that Jungkook card goes up, you’d be able to use it as money just like using bitcoin. But people did not like this as they felt HYBE was supposed to be about music and not all this stuff.
But anyway, the other thing was that apparently, BTS was selling a Mini Photocard set for 74 dollars. And then apparently there was this big uproar online and people started canceling their order as they felt like HYBE was taking advantage of ARMY’s.

I don’t know how many orders were canceled but it seemed like people were very upset over the idea that these products were so expensive.

Some even claimed that HE was money hungry and that this goes against, interestingly, interestingly, BTS 'whole ideology. BTS is a big stakeholder in HYBE and probably has these decisions or at least the final approval of these decisions.

The people getting mad don’t understand how the industry works. I believe this industry is created by people not wanting to know the truth. There’s this big misconception that if you like money, you don’t like what you do. That's not true.

People get into it because they love it. But they need money to keep doing it and not have to find another job.

BTS are businessmen, they understand business and they are a business.
The money you spend on HYBE, they get some of that. And likely they know that the prices are high but they may not object to it because it’s supply and demand.

But they wouldn’t even be able to sell it by that much if the demand for these cards weren’t so high. If there’s so much demand and little supply. You raise the price. So the demand then goes down a bit and you don’t sell out so fast.

So that people who want it can get it. Now that’s my opinion on their business model.
