They've been through so much together that it's hard to imagine what the world would be like if they hadn't existed. Their maknae, Jungkook, started working hard for his career at a very young age, it's strange to think about where life could have taken him if he hadn't become a trainee and then an idol. Seeing him today as one of K-pop's ace maknaes, we can all agree that he really is destined for a life in the limelight.

Jungkook auditioned for the 3rd season of superstar k well he didn’t get in so his audition was edited out completely but you know what they say, "failure can open doors to the opportunity" it wasn’t the end for our kooky because different agency recruiters on the location saw something in him, he then ended up being scouted by seven different entertainment agencies all of whom wanted to sign Jungkook to an exclusive contract the seven different agencies were JYP Entertainment, FNC Entertainment, Woolman Entertainment, TS Entertainment Cube Entertainment and of course Big Hit Entertainment a lot of big names there right but despite having been recruited by bigger and more successful companies Jungkook chose Big Hit Entertainment at that time their label was so small so it was interesting to find that he chose it over others.
Suga even once said the fact that "He (Jungkook) rejected all the agencies that were more successful than us and chose to sign with this company" I think was god will indeed it was when he was asked why he chose Big Hit Entertainment over the other bigger agencies jungkook revealed that RM inspired him to join them.
Jungkook said; “I thought RM was so cool so I wanted to sign with the Big Hit I told my parents that I wanted to join and so I signed” and so his trainee life began.
However, it's not yet a dream come true despite being so talented he wasn't always considered the best candidate for their agency for BTS’s debut in fact according to a Big Hit Entertainment CEO and founder bank xi hyuk he wasn't really sure if Jungkook could and should debut in BTS in an interview where he talked about BTS members he shared how he saw them grow as trainees to idols Bangshi first talked about rap monster saying,
“I first met rap monster when he was in ninth grade seven or eight years ago I feel the same way fans do he started practicing at such a young age it's fun seeing how his personality has changed from his trainee days to his debut”
Now you see what's happening here RM is really the binder of BTS Jungkook was truly destined to be part of BTS from the very beginning. Thank god he met RM which agency would he has chosen if he hadn't seen each other first fate's work is truly so astonishing many knew that RM was one of the first lineups for the supposed BTS then we could all agree that he had a big role in the making of the BTS we knew and loved today.
But their CEO didn't feel the same way for all the current members, in fact, fans were surprised at how he almost doubted the golden maknae. Bang PD confessed that before BTS debuted he wasn't sure if Jungkook would even debut with the group in his own words actually, during his trainee time when Jungkook was asked to sing he couldn't he was very shy and would just twist his body for 15 minutes armies are aware of this side of Jungkook.
He's definitely a shy boy even though he gives off so much confidence and charisma on stage back then, he couldn't separate his shyness from his performance unlike now where he seems to be A completely different person when on stage this caused their CEO and other big officials in their label to see him negatively causing them to doubt whether he deserved his spot in the group but of course, he did debut today their CEO is so proud of how he is as an artist he ended his statement about jungkook with the company, evaluation was that he couldn't even debut because he didn't have the talent too, but now isn't he such a fun member I will forever thank the Bang PD, for believing in Jungkook and never giving up on him he gave his trust to the right person and it all paid out well.
Jungkook didn't let the CEO and the whole company down now he made armies proud too but having the CEO behind your back isn't enough for jungkook to pursue his A career in the k-pop industry actually, he met another crisis right before the group's debut, believe it or not, he almost went for a different career path when he first started training, he wasn't born to be a natural dancer he was more of a singer so he had to take more lessons in dancing to build a better foundation in this area.
Due to the potential, they saw in him he was given a chance to be sent to LA for dance lessons at the movement lifestyle dance school there he learned from some of the best mentors and Talents in the Dance Scene and soon found a passion for it you may think it's all good now right.
He's now a capable dancer aside from being an exceptional singer with his visuals he now takes all the boxes to become an idol well that's where the crisis came in it became quite a problem for bighit entertainment and the members of bts when jungkook started to love dancing so much because of that he no longer wanted to sing and be a performing artist his new dream was to become a professional dancer thankfully Jimin intervened and prevented him from committing the biggest mistake of his life he took Jungkook out for some ice cream so they could sit down and have a little talk he then told jungkook “you're the most important member of our group, you can't leave with those sweet words”, he was able to convince jungkook to stay with them as a member of BTS and as their maknae instead of pursuing his newfound passion.
I’m not trying to hate on professional Dancers, it's a noble profession and I salute many artists in that field but can you imagine if Jungkook really went for that dream BTS would never be the same.
I’m sure he would have become one of the best dancers worldwide but being part of bts is where his destiny truly is and I’m sure no one would disagree with me because their achievements prove that's where he should be besides he still proved to be a professional dancer Material while in bts with their group's choreography he has shown the world how talented he is in the field of dancing so it was never really a lost dream for him bts is not bts if they're not seven there's no other maknae for them but jeon jungkook stories of him almost not debuting will remain just that stories it's scary to think of the what-ifs but what matters most is they're here now jungkook is part of bts and he will forever go down in history as BTS’s golden maknae can you imagine bts without their golden maknae aside from being a professional dancer.
